The tragedy occurred on Sunday, October 31, at around 5:30 a.m., on national road no. 30 in Pisarzowice (near Lubań).
According to the eluban.pl portal:
The 21-year-old BMW driver was travelling towards Lubań. At a bend in the road, instead of gently turning right, he drove straight on, as if he had dozed off at the wheel. The car ran off the road, destroyed the property’s fence, made of lightweight wooden panels, and came to a stop in the garden.
(...) One of the fence elements pierced the windshield and struck the young man in the head. When rescuers arrived at the scene, they could only pronounce the man dead.
