The award is presented to teachers from all regions and communities around the world. This year, teachers from more than one hundred countries received the award. Among the three Polish women and men honored was a woman from Bolesławiec: grades 1–3 teacher Dorota Stanałowska.
Dorota Stanałowska has worked on the basis of eTwinning projects for many years. These projects have been recognized with National and European Quality Labels.
In the 2020/2021 school year, the teacher received seven European Quality Labels for her work with the first-grade class (now in second grade) on the following projects: “Child in Art,” “Steps for the Climate,” “Add a Color to Nature,” “Imagine the Code,” “Steamist,” “For the Power of My Dreams,” and “Let’s Go to Fairyland.” For two years, Dorota Stanałowska has led several projects in international teams.
This school year, the teacher began the “Nature in Art” project and oversees the work of teachers and students from four countries: Poland, Turkey, Italy, and Georgia.
