The forest-planting action on Thursday was carried out in the Głuszec Forest District of Nadleśnictwo Bolesławiec. Forester Mariusz Pawłowski and forest rangers Piotr Rosa and Mirosław Kukułka prepared compartment 40a for the Forestry Technical School students, where they were to plant two-year-old European beech seedlings (Fagus sylvatica).

ZSB:

After a brief training session on planting, the spades got to work.

The action will last three days. On the first day, students from Bolesławiec’s “Budowlanka” planted a total of approximately 2,000 seedlings. The school sums it up:

It was a very positive way to spend time and a good lesson in practical vocational skills for our “forestry students”.
