Dariusz Dziewięcki runs the Film Creation Workshop at the Youth Cultural Centre. This is a completely new offering in Bolesławiec, and it is still possible to join the group. Participants learn framing, editing, working with light and sound, and set design. After a year of study, the participants will be able to record and edit film material ready for publication, for example, on YouTube, TikTok or Facebook.

One of the first projects is for each participant to create their own several-minute film short. From the screenplay, through casting, location and editing, to the premiere. In preparation: a romance, a comedy and a thriller.

“Use what you have at hand, start creating recordings and edit them without using complicated tools! What matters is the idea, creativity, inspiration and… there you have it,” says the director, inviting people to his classes.

Are you into independent amateur cinema? Do you want to act in a film short? That is great, because you will not find another opportunity like this in Bolesławiec! The Film Creation Workshop operating at the Youth Cultural Centre is looking for amateur actresses and actors to appear in short films prepared by the workshop participants. No experience is required. We will create everything together. We are waiting for girls and boys aged 16 to 25, boys aged 10 to 14, and men over 20.

We remind you that you can enrol in the Film Creation Workshop or apply for the casting and take part in this special project. Contact phone number: 786 865 228.
