On Friday, 26 February, students from the Zespół Szkół Ekonomiczno-Technicznych in Rakowice underwent training at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade in Bolesławiec. Students from the military-profile class practised, among other things, defence against weapons of mass destruction—including putting on protective clothing and a gas mask. The practical exercises were preceded by a necessary dose of theoretical knowledge.

During the next part of the training, the young people worked on selected elements of individual drill, such as leaving formation, turns on the spot, and assuming the basic and relaxed positions. The instructors were pleasantly surprised by the students’ enthusiasm and commitment. The classes conducted at the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade gave the students of the Zespół Szkół Ekonomiczno-Technicznych an opportunity to learn about soldiers’ lives from the inside.
