The incident occurred on the afternoon of October 7 in Jelenia Góra, in a park by the Garrison Church. Police and a medical rescue team were called to the scene. Medical rescuers determined that the 15- and 16-year-old girls were intoxicated. The girls were taken to hospital.

After sobering up, the teenagers will be dealt with by the Family and Juvenile Court. If police officers identify the adults who sold alcohol to the minors, they may appear before a criminal court. They face up to two years in prison, while the shop owner may lose their licence to sell alcohol.
