The incident occurred on Monday, October 4, at a sadly familiar location: the Cieszkowskiego–Modłowa intersection in Bolesławiec. At approximately 7:00 a.m., two Volkswagen cars collided there.
According to the officers’ findings, the 39-year-old driver of the Sharan failed to yield the right of way to a Tiguan while turning left. The Tiguan was being driven by a 36-year-old woman. The passenger in the latter vehicle, a 6-year-old boy, was injured in the collision. (All three are residents of Bolesławiec County.)
The child was taken to a hospital in Legnica. It is not yet known how serious his injuries are.
