The matter was discussed by the Mayor of Bolesławiec, Piotr Roman, during the September meeting of the Bolesławiec City Council:

We held a teleconference with the Chief Commander of the State Fire Service, during which we received confirmation that construction of the fire service headquarters in Bolesławiec would begin. The project was included in the draft legislation. Once the legislation is passed, a tender will be announced.

What is more, a construction permit has already been issued. The aforementioned draft legislation earmarks PLN 16 million for this purpose. (The funds may, however, be higher.) The investment is scheduled to take four years, although it may be completed sooner.

P. Roman:

I think we should all be pleased about this. The Chief Commander, Mr Adam Konieczny, inspected the plot that we decided to allocate for construction of the headquarters. He spoke of its excellent location and excellent transport links.

And he added:

I believe this is our joint success: that of the commander and of the Bolesławiec municipal authorities.

(This concerns both the transfer by the City of Bolesławiec of a plot for this purpose and the efforts of municipal officials to establish a new headquarters for the Bolesławiec uniformed services.)
