The school most progressive when it comes to withdrawing from religion classes is Zespół Szkół Budowlanych, where more than 57% do not attend them. The most “devout” among secular schools, in turn, is Zespół Szkół Elektronicznych, where more than 63% of students attend religion classes. However, it is possible that this is not about piety but about grade averages. Religion is included in the average, and getting a top grade in this subject is not difficult. Naturally, 100% of children and young people at Liceum Pijarzy attend religion classes.

In primary schools, the largest numbers of children who do not attend religion classes are at SP4 and Oxpress. SP3, on the other hand, is the school where only 6% of female and male students have withdrawn from religion classes.

Currently, students have four options: attending religion classes, taking ethics classes instead of religion, enrolling in both subjects, or enrolling in neither. However, this may soon change. Minister of Education and Science Przemysław Czarnek wants children and young people to be required to attend one of these subjects—religion or ethics. Ethics, however, is to be taught by people trained, among others, by a school associated with Tadeusz Rydzyk of Radio Maryja.
