– Police officers from the Lwówek command continue their efforts to combat drug-related crime in Lwówek County. Over the past week, they carried out operations targeting people involved in the cultivation, production and distribution of drugs, reports Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski.
She adds:
As a result of the actions undertaken, last Friday police officers arrested two residents of Lwówek County suspected of committing offences under the Act on Counteracting Drug Addiction.
Two cannabis plantations were dismantled. A total of 15 plants and dried material were seized, from which 170 saleable portions of the drug could have been obtained. The spokesperson said: “In addition, one of the men supplied a narcotic substance to other people more than 80 times.”
Both detainees admitted their guilt. They could now face between six months and as many as eight years in prison.
