The band’s founder and originator, Mr Žarko – Žarko Jovaševic, comes from the area around the city of Čačak (Serbia). After moving to Germany, he formed a band there. Its members come from various nationalities. The group performs songs described as going beyond preconceived ideas about Balkan music.
They feature trumpets characteristic of Balkan music, although various styles and motifs come through in Mr Žarko’s songs, making their music known as folkloric madness.
The band performs in various parts of the world. It has appeared in Germany, Turkey and Slovakia.
On the stage in Bolesławiec, Mr Žarko presented his biggest hits.
