Jelenia Góra criminal investigators detained a 42-year-old man suspected of possessing significant quantities of drugs and growing cannabis. Staff Aspirant Monika Kaleta from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:
Officers received information that the man had a cannabis plant cultivation on his property. It turned out to be located in a garden gazebo. Police seized several cannabis plants at various stages of growth, as well as ready marijuana, ecstasy and methamphetamine.
And she adds:
The seized narcotics could yield more than 1,000 retail portions of drugs.
The Jelenia Góra resident was detained and placed in police custody. Officers are currently clarifying all the details of the case: they are determining the source of the seized drugs and checking whether the man was involved in their distribution.
The 42-year-old faces from one to as many as ten years in prison.
