The incident occurred on September 16. Volunteer firefighters from Nowogrodziec:
[...] at 06:40, we were dispatched urgently to assist the Emergency Medical Team in Nowogrodziec, at 1 Maja Street. The operation involved setting up a portable ladder and opening the apartment from the inside.
The firefighters add:
An elderly person was in the apartment and urgently needed medical assistance. After the emergency medical team had carried out the medical procedures, the injured person was transported to the ambulance.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Nowogrodziec, as well as an emergency medical team, took part in the operation, which lasted 30 minutes.
