Third place at the WRPF Spanish Championships in Barcelona is a great success, but only the latest competition appearance on the coach’s journey. Amadeusz Dziemianko is currently preparing for a competition in Wrocław, where he will compete in the WPC Polish Championships, which will be held next weekend, on 18 September.
“This is my first competitive season after the break caused by the pandemic,” says Amadeusz. “My last competition was in 2019 in Ukraine, where I took first place in the 90-kilogram category in the WPA federation.” He adds: “I am pleased with my result in Barcelona because it was improved. The final week before the competition was a bit tough, but we will soon return to the platform to complete the lifts that did not go well this time. The organization in Spain was relaxed, but the atmosphere was wonderful! The result of the athlete in second place was 815 kilograms, so the gap between us is clear. But we are doing our thing and slowly moving upward,” Amadeusz adds.
