The investment includes the drainage of rainwater and meltwater to the existing receiving body, along with the construction of storm drains, inspection chambers and a water-treatment facility. As part of the project, a retention and evaporation reservoir with an emergency overflow was also built.
The total cost of the project amounted to PLN 367,283. The works were financed as part of the project titled “Improving flood safety for the City of Bolesławiec through the modernization and expansion of the stormwater management system,” implemented under the Regional Operational Programme of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship 2014–2020 and co-financed by the European Union and the European Regional Development Fund, project no. RPDS.04.05.01-02-0014/19. The subsidy amounted to 84.99%.
