– On September 6, during a border check of people who had arrived from Kyiv, Border Guard officers, while scanning the QR code of the EU COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate presented by the 25-year-old Ukrainian citizen, noticed that the data included there did not match the data in her passport – reports Major of the Border Guard Joanna Konieczniak, press spokesperson for the Nadodrzański Border Guard Unit. – Because of this, the woman was detained.

Border Guard officers charged the woman with using a falsified document. The spokesperson said: – At the same time, the foreign national took a coronavirus test, which turned out to be negative.

The suspect pleaded guilty, gave explanations and voluntarily submitted to a sentence of one year in prison, suspended for two years.
