Bomb-disposal specialists:

It should be borne in mind that explosives used in military technology are, in practice, completely resistant to weather conditions and retain their explosive properties regardless of their date of manufacture.

If you have any suspicion about an object you have found, call the bomb-disposal specialists. They will remove the danger and are properly prepared to do so.

What should you do if you find unexploded ordnance?

Soldiers:

  1. Do not touch such objects.
  2. Secure the area against access by bystanders (e.g. children) and mark the place where the item was found.
  3. Immediately report it by calling the emergency number 112, the Police, Municipal Police, Fire Service or Forestry Service.
