The incident occurred on Saturday, 28 August, in the evening, in Brzeźnik, near Bolesławiec. The driver of a passenger car, a 37-year-old resident of Wrocław County, lost control of the vehicle and hit an energy-absorbing barrier at a petrol station.
It turned out that the 37-year-old was drunk; he had 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. He was detained and faces up to two years in prison.
