The accident occurred on Wednesday evening. Police findings indicate that the Passat driver was traveling at excessive speed. At one point, he lost control of the car and collided head-on with the truck. As a result of the collision, the Volkswagen driver died. The section of the bypass between Modłowa Street and the roundabout on the Kruszyn side was blocked for several hours.
Man killed in accident on the bypass
A passenger Volkswagen Passat and a Mercedes truck with a trailer collided on the city bypass near Modłowa Street. The Bolesławiec resident driving the Passat died at the scene. Firefighters had to use specialist equipment to extricate him from the car.
