A few weeks ago, new solutions were introduced at the intersection of Lubańska Street and Śluzowa Street in Bolesławiec to improve road safety. The pedestrian crossings (zebra crossings) are marked in red and white.
In addition, there are speed bumps on all approaches to the intersection, also painted red and white. It should also be remembered that drivers must cross a speed bump when leaving the intersection as well. Road signs provide information about this.
Previously, accidents and collisions occurred at this intersection. Will the new solutions improve safety for pedestrians and drivers?
