The topic was raised during the August session of the Bolesławiec City Council by Mayor Piotr Roman:
The most important recent event was a working meeting concerning the construction of the second section of the city’s eastern bypass.
Representatives of the Municipality of Bolesławiec, Bolesławiec Municipality and Bolesławiec County were presented with as many as five concepts. The newest, fifth option met with the greatest enthusiasm from the local-government officials: the construction of a new five-arm roundabout between Bolesławiec and Kruszyn (near the Solidarności roundabout).
What would this achieve? P. Roman: “It would offer a chance that when Bolesławiec is under siege, among other things because of accidents on the A4, cars would not block the Solidarności roundabout, but would use this new roundabout to travel towards Krzywa.”
It is not yet known whether this option will be implemented. We will certainly return to the subject.
