The incident occurred during the first week of February. A man reported to the police station and told officers that he had been robbed in his own apartment. According to the victim, the previous evening he had been drinking alcohol with an unknown man at one of the establishments in Bolesławiec. After leaving the establishment, both men went to the victim’s apartment, where they continued the party.
When the apartment owner woke up, he discovered that the keys to two cars, documents, two mobile phones and a laptop were missing. His car was also no longer outside the house.
The police detained the perpetrator. He turned out to be a 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. Officers found the stolen items and recovered the victim’s car.
The suspect stole items worth a total of PLN 18,000. He told officers that he intended to sell the stolen goods and use the money for travel. He now faces up to five years in prison.
