The incident occurred on Monday, August 16, on Cieszkowskiego Street in Bolesławiec. After 9 p.m., police officers stopped the driver of an Audi for inspection. The driver was a 37-year-old resident of Bolesławiec. As it turned out, he was completely drunk; a test showed 2.8 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The 37-year-old Bolesławiec resident was detained. He now faces up to two years in prison.
