The voivodeship government directs support to municipalities with low tax revenues. The funds can be used to carry out projects aimed at improving road safety, which fall within the responsibilities of the relevant local government. This year, 99 municipalities applied for assistance from the voivodeship budget, of which 97 qualified for the next stage. A ranking list was drawn up following the substantive assessment.

– We are aware that projects related to improving road safety are extremely important to local communities because they improve, for example, access to work, preschool and school. That is why every year we consistently provide municipalities with specific financial support from the voivodeship budget to carry out such projects – says Cezary Przybylski, Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship.

Warta Bolesławiecka municipality received a promise worth over PLN 123,000 from Marshal Cezary Przybylski. The money will co-finance the project “Expansion and reconstruction of road lighting in the following localities: Warta Bolesławiecka, Tomaszów Bolesławiecki, Lubków and Wilczy Las.”
