Both incidents occurred on July 31. Firefighters from KP PSP Bolesławiec:
[...] at 11:07, the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec received a report concerning a passenger car fire on the county road before the village of Świętoszów. The first to arrive at the scene was a unit from the Military Fire Service in Świętoszów, which was incorporated into the National Rescue and Firefighting System in 2019, enabling the WSP to carry out rescue operations outside the area of its home unit.
The uniformed officers add:
The unit found a passenger car on the roadside, completely engulfed in flames; the fire from the burning vehicle spread to forest undergrowth covering approximately one are. Three people were traveling in the vehicle, and none of them was injured.
The operations consisted of securing the scene and applying two streams of water: one to the burning car and the other to the burning undergrowth.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec, Świętoszów and Ławszowa took part in the operations.
That was not the end, however. Firefighters from Bolesławiec:
The next incident was a stubble-field fire in the village of Bożejowice. The report reached the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec at around 5:45 p.m. When the first units arrived at the scene, it turned out that approximately 20 ares of stubble were burning. The fire was extinguished using three streams of water.
Uniformed officers from JRG Bolesławiec (two units) and one unit from Ocice took part in this operation.
