Jelenia Góra criminal investigators detained a 28-year-old resident of Jelenia Góra suspected of possessing significant quantities of drugs. “While conducting their investigation, officers obtained information that the 28-year-old man was most likely involved in drug-related crime. Verifying further information in the case, officers established that the man most likely possessed drugs in a warehouse on his property,” reports junior aspirant Beata Sosulska-Baran from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra.
She adds: “While searching the warehouse, police officers found narcotic substances stored in buckets. They were marijuana and amphetamine. Altogether, the seized narcotic substances could yield more than 9,000 retail portions.”
The 28-year-old was taken into police custody. He could now face a sentence of one to as many as ten years in prison.
