– Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn received a report concerning a lost payment card. Based on the evidence collected, police officers established the locations where the card had been used – reports asp. szt. As officers established, the young man used someone else’s card 15 times, buying groceries and tobacco products. When he had reached the limit and two further attempts failed, he threw the card into the trash as a “useless piece of plastic.” (The victim lost more than PLN 400. Without the card’s limits, the losses would have been greater).
The 22-year-old now faces a sentence of between one and as many as ten years in prison.
