At the scene of the tragedy in Parzyce, on the grounds of a hydroelectric power plant, emergency services are present: two fire service units and the police. According to unofficial information, the victim of the accident was an employee. He was pulled into a turbine.

As reported by Bolesławiec police spokesperson Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, a 42-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County died in the accident at the power plant. He was carrying out maintenance work at the hydroelectric power plant. The police, under the supervision of the prosecutor's office, are currently determining the causes of the tragedy.
