In connection with the first case of African swine fever in Bolesławiec County, on 23 July 2021 the Lower Silesian Voivode issued a regulation.

The voivode’s document states, among other things:

§ 1. A restricted area is designated in connection with the confirmation of an outbreak of African swine fever in the locality of Parowa, in Osiecznica Commune, Bolesławiec County, comprising [...] localities in Bolesławiec County, in Osiecznica Commune: Parowa (disease outbreak), Bronowiec, Ołobok.

§ 2. An area at risk of African swine fever is designated in connection with the confirmation of the outbreak referred to in § 1, comprising [...] the following localities:

  1. in Bolesławiec County, in Osiecznica Commune: Poświętne, Ławszowa, Przejęsław, Osiecznica, Kliczków, Osieczów, Tomisław;
  2. in Zgorzelec County, in Węgliniec Commune: Piaski, Kieszków – parts of the locality of Jagodzin.
