Alert! On July 14, 2021, at 10:48 p.m., we began operations related to severe weather conditions. We started in our municipality, but after a short time we were also dispatched to areas of other municipalities, including the city of Bolesławiec.

They add:

In total, we recorded more than 20 interventions related to fallen trees and flooding. All three of our units took part in the operations, along with units from Bolesławiec, Zgorzelec, Złotoryja and Legnica counties.

As of now (July 15, 11:30 a.m.), our mechanical ladder unit is still carrying out operations.

Update

City Hall: “In Bolesławiec, the removal of the effects of last night’s storm has been underway since the early morning hours. During the night of July 14–15, heavy rainfall and powerful gusts of wind occurred over Bolesławiec and the surrounding area. As a result, there are broken trees, flooded streets and basements. Approximately 24 mm of rain fell within a short time over the past 24 hours.
