– In June 2021, officers of the Lower Silesian KAS carried out official activities at premises located in the counties of Zgorzelec, Jawor, Lwówek, Legnica and Środa, as well as in Głogów and Legnica. In several cases, officers carried out the activities with the participation of police officers from Zgorzelec, Jawor and Głogów – informs Agnieszka Rzeźnicka-Gniadek, press spokesperson for the Lower Silesian KAS.
She adds:
At the inspected locations, 48 illegal gambling machines and PLN 56,857 in cash were discovered. The devices and money found were secured as evidence in the case and transferred to a deposit warehouse.
We remind you that offering illegal gambling in Poland is punishable by severe financial penalties and imprisonment for up to three years.
