– Officers from the Traffic Division of the Zgorzelec police headquarters spotted a Peugeot with a shattered rear window on one of the roads in the Węgliniec municipality. The officers decided to stop the driver for a roadside check, reports Deputy Inspector Agnieszka Goguł, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec. – When they activated the lights and siren to stop the vehicle, its passenger threw a plastic bag out of the window.
It turned out that it contained methamphetamine, from which more than 50 doses of the drug could have been prepared.
The 39-year-old resident of Zielona Góra County was arrested and charged. He could now face up to three years in prison.
