The incident took place in Lubań. “At around 1 a.m., an intoxicated man decided to break into a clothing store that he was passing. Using a concrete base from a waste bin, he smashed the display window and then took a display mannequin. The mannequin was dressed in a women’s dress,” reports asp. szt. Thanks to a witness’s intervention, the suspect abandoned the mannequin and one of the handbags near the store. The man was quickly apprehended by the police.

It turned out that the 40-year-old was completely drunk; a test showed approximately 2 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath. The vandal could now face a sentence of one to as many as ten years in prison.
