The incident occurred on June 30. During the night, officers from the Lwówek police intervened with an intoxicated man who was sleeping under a bench in Lwówek Śląski. After completing their duties, they continued patrolling the town.
The policewoman who intervened must have made quite an impression on the 24-year-old partygoer, because at around 1 a.m. he reported to the duty officer at the District Police Headquarters and tried to obtain the private phone number of the officer he had met literally moments earlier.
Since the man was drunk, he was sent home. But the tipsy Romeo would not give up. “Despite being instructed to do so, the 24-year-old did not want to leave the police headquarters building,” reports Sgt. Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer for the Lwówek District Police Headquarters.

After sobering up, the man was fined PLN 500 for failing to comply with instructions issued by police officers.
