The incident took place on July 5, at around 3:00 p.m. “Police officers received a report that at one of the workplaces in Lwówek Śląski, one of the employees performing his duties might be under the influence of alcohol,” reports Sgt. Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski. “Upon arriving at the scene, the officers tested the indicated man’s sobriety. The result showed 2‰ in his exhaled breath.”
But that was not the end of it. The officers mentioned above were later patrolling the town and, less than an hour later, spotted the same man again. This time, he was driving a passenger car. And as it turned out, he was even more drunk; the test showed 2.3‰.
The extremely irresponsible man had his driving licence confiscated. He now faces up to two years in prison.
