The incident occurred on Sunday, July 4, in the afternoon. A 69-year-old resident of Bolesławiec arrived at one of the stores in Bolesławiec in a Volkswagen. The store clerk and another customer, suspecting that the man was drunk, prevented him from driving any farther and called the police.
The intervening individuals’ suspicions were confirmed. The 69-year-old, who had 1.4 per mille of alcohol in his system, was detained. He could now face up to two years behind bars.
