A reader contacted the editorial team of the istotne.pl website and newspaper. In a message he sent, he complained about the behavior of Chrobry Nowogrodziec fans and players, which allegedly took place on Sunday, June 27, after the Nowogrodziec team’s promotion to the district league.
The reader wrote in his message:
(...) Regarding Chrobry Nowogrodziec. It’s great that they were promoted, but what these supposedly fans and players did after the match was reprehensible. After celebrating the promotion, they moved the party to the market square, where they beat people (including jostling women); I stress that the players themselves also took part in it.
The reader also explained that he himself had not been there, but had spoken with people who were affected.
However, the club from Nowogrodziec does not agree with the version of events presented by the reader. In response to his complaints, it explained:
Certainly, no women were jostled or hit. The players and fans walked through the market square and celebrated; at that point, a group of people shouted “f... Chrobry,” and a scuffle broke out.
