Over the past four years, residents of Bolesławiec have donated PLN 150,000 to the foundation. They received nothing in return. During the Orchestra’s 12 years of activity, a hearing-testing machine, ventilators, an incubator and a phototherapy lamp were delivered to the neonatal ward of the Bolesławiec hospital.

The children’s ward would like to receive an ultrasound machine. Although a pulse oximeter (a device that measures heart rate and the level of oxygen in the blood) would also be useful—the ward has asked the Orchestra for one as well—the priority is obtaining an ultrasound machine.

Newborns could use the machine, as their ward does not have one either, as could children staying in other wards.

In addition to the ward itself, the Bolesławiec Orchestra headquarters became involved in efforts to obtain the equipment. One member of parliament and a councillor from Gromadka also got involved.
