The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 19, in the Gromadka municipality. Two men, aged 26 and 33, broke into the fire station and stole, among other things, firefighting hoses and uniforms. The losses were estimated at more than PLN 20,000.
Police arrested the suspects two days after the break-in. Officers recovered some of the stolen property.
Both detainees were taken into police custody. They face up to 10 years in prison.
