After last year’s promotion of the team from Osiecznica from the regional league to the fourth division, there was no shortage of voices claiming that the team would not cope at this level of competition and would be relegated to the regional league after the season. Meanwhile, through their performances, Leśnik proved that their promotion was no accident and that their footballing abilities make them worthy of competing among the best teams in the Lower Silesian fourth division.
In their matches against fourth-division teams, Leśnik Osiecznica collected 52 points, which allowed them to take a high sixth place in the league table. In the 2020/2021 season, the team from Osiecznica won 16 times, drew 4 times and had to acknowledge the superiority of their opponents 13 times.
Their position in the table secured their survival, and in the upcoming season Leśnik Osiecznica will continue to represent our region on fourth-division pitches (as the only club from Bolesławiec County).
