On Monday, June 21, police detained three intoxicated drivers. Before 5 a.m., on the motorway, officers caught the perpetrator of a collision; the 25-year-old from Silesian Voivodeship had more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
In the afternoon, community officers detained a 24-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who lost control of his car and ran off the road. The driver had nearly 3 per mille.
In the evening, police officers from Kruszyn detained a resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality who got behind the wheel while drunk. The 23-year-old’s test showed more than 2 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath.
Reminder: Driving while intoxicated carries a sentence of up to 2 years in prison, loss of one’s driving licence and financial consequences.
