On 15 June, a training session conducted by the Bolesławiec Bomb Disposal Patrol was held at the Technical and General Secondary School Complex in Piechowice. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to learn about bomb-disposal equipment (vehicles and specialist protective clothing), procedures for removing ordnance, ordnance models, and the dangers posed by unexploded ordnance.

District authorities:

Numerous shells and unexploded ordnance are still found in Karkonosze County. From time to time, such discoveries are reported and require bomb-disposal intervention. Over the years, progressive corrosion has also made them increasingly dangerous. That is why raising awareness and learning the correct response to the discovery of unexploded ordnance are so important.
