On Friday, June 11, officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit of the Lwówek police station, while on duty on a police quad bike in Rakowice Wielkie, stopped a 38-year-old resident of Lwówek County for inspection. “During the check, it turned out that the moped was not permitted to travel on public roads and that its rider was under the influence of methamphetamine,” reports Sergeant Olga Łukaszewicz, press officer of the local KPP.

She adds:

In addition, during a personal search, officers found intoxicating substances in the form of white crystals on the 38-year-old, which turned out to be methamphetamine.

The 38-year-old was arrested and taken to a police cell. He now faces up to three years in prison.
