As reported by the Wrocław branch of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways, the bid submitted by the Road and Bridge Design and Research Office TRANSPROJEKT from Warsaw was selected as the most advantageous in the tender for preparing design documentation for the A4 motorway, from the Krzyżowa interchange to the Legnica Południe interchange. The investor says: “If no appeal is filed against the bid selection, the agreement with the contractor should be signed by the end of June this year.”
How much will it cost?
The company declared that it would prepare the documentation for more than PLN 11.7 million.

The task includes preparing a Technical, Economic and Environmental Study with elements of a programme concept and a functional and utility programme, together with obtaining an environmental decision (STEŚ-R). The documentation concerns an approximately 36-kilometre section of the A4 motorway, from the Krzyżowa interchange to the Legnica Południe interchange. As part of the STEŚ-R documentation for this section, options for expanding the A4 motorway along its existing route will be analysed.

This concerns the A4 from Legnica to Wrocław, together with the construction of the S5 from Sobótka to Bolków. Road officials:
On 28 May this year, we selected the most advantageous bid for preparing the STEŚ-R for the construction or expansion of the A4 motorway from the Legnica Południe interchange to the Wrocław Wschód interchange, approximately 80 kilometres long, and for the construction of an approximately 50-kilometre section of the S5, from the Sobótka interchange to the Bolków interchange.
