Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister, during a press conference in Turek:
We have decided that there will be more worshippers in churches starting next week. We want half of the available places to be allowed to be occupied.
The prime minister added that the government had held discussions with the episcopate. He added:
As a result of these discussions over the past several days, we have indeed decided that—similarly to what is happening elsewhere—these places sacred to Poles, namely churches, may also be visited by larger groups of people. Therefore, this decision, which will take effect next week, also applies specifically to churches.
