Police officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec unit detained a man suspected of drug-related offenses. “The 33-year-old had previously been convicted in connection with the possession of narcotic substances,” reports junior constable Aleksandra Pieprzycka of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

She adds:

The resident of Bolesławiec failed to respond to summonses from investigators, so, on the basis of a prosecutor’s order, officers went to bring him to the police station. As they approached the man’s place of residence, the police spotted him on one of the nearby streets.

During the police procedure, the young man was very nervous. The reason? Once again, he was carrying illegal substances. The spokesperson said: “In the man’s pouch and clothing pocket, officers found zip-lock bags containing methamphetamine and marijuana. Several dozen saleable doses were secured in total.

The 33-year-old was charged with three offenses related to the possession of narcotic substances. As the detainee is a repeat offender, he faces up to 4.5 years in prison.
