Construction School Complex in Bolesławiec:
This is a unique project aimed at students, teachers and schools around the world, creating a global community of people learning English. By taking part in the project, students were able to test their language knowledge and skills by communicating with their peers in an international context via the Zoom application. They had the opportunity to take part in a lesson with a native speaker, together with peers from Hungary, Turkey, Slovenia, Russia, Colombia, Australia, Brazil and other cities, including those in Poland.
Several groups of teenagers from different countries take part in the lesson simultaneously, completing tasks together and discussing important topics from everyday life. The lessons are conducted online by experienced British teachers, which is an additional advantage of this initiative.
The lesson topic was extremely interesting and adapted to the students’ age and level of English proficiency. For the young people, in addition to taking part in the lesson itself, it was also a reminder that English is not only a school subject but also a basic tool for communication around the world.
ZSB:
Our lesson was led by trainer Dan Shepherd. The coordinators of the classes were: Magdalena Stadnik and Piotr Korczowski.
