A retrospective exhibition of the best drawings and three-dimensional works from the 40-year history of Legnica’s SATYRYKON, open from 1 June 2021.
For many years, Legnica was the first and only meeting place for Polish satirical artists, while SATYRYKON itself effectively contributed to popularizing satirical drawing in Poland. Today, the International SATYRYKON Exhibition is an open competition for illustrators, graphic artists, painters, sculptors, poster artists and photographers from around the world. Over 40 years, the organizers of SATYRYKON have brought together the most outstanding artists in this field, attracted huge numbers of audiences and supporters, and engaged jurors, sponsors and patrons.
