On 14 May, a ceremony marking Firefighters’ Day was held in the square of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec. The ceremony began with a report submitted to Brig. Gen. Marek Kamiński, Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service, by the ceremony commander, Capt. Wojciech Rosiak. The uniformed officers:
The highlight of the ceremony was the reading of an excerpt from the decisions granting promotions to higher ranks and official positions to firefighters from the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec.
The ceremony was held under sanitary restrictions and took a modest form. The following people attended the celebrations:
- Brig. Gen. Marek Kamiński – Lower Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service,
- Bolesławiec County Head Tomasz Gabrysiak,
- Brig. Andrzej Śliwowski – District Commander of the State Fire Service in Bolesławiec, together with his deputy, Brig. Piotr Pilarczyk,
- Firefighter Jarosław Nenkin – President of the District Branch Board of the Volunteer Fire Brigades Association of the Republic of Poland,
- Brig. Gen. Grzegorz Kocon, retired – President of the Provincial Branch Board of the Association of Retired Firefighters and Pensioners of the Republic of Poland.
