The incident took place on Sunday, 16 May. Volunteer firefighters from Różyniec:
11:39 a.m. – dispatched to a report of a motorcyclist being hit at the LSSE in Osła. Upon arriving at the scene, we found the injured motorcyclist, to whom we provided qualified first aid [kwalifikowanej pierwszej pomocy – przyp. istotne.pl].
They added:
We secured the scene and limited oil and fuel leaks from the motorcycle.
The motorcyclist was conscious after the collision. He was taken to hospital. Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Różyniec, the police and an emergency medical team took part in the operation.
The Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters reported on the incident:
Before noon, a collision occurred in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. The driver of a passenger car, a 30-year-old resident of Silesian Voivodeship, failed to yield the right of way, causing a collision with a motorcycle ridden by a 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The motorcyclist, who suffered hand and spinal injuries, was taken to hospital.
